My inner squirrel has been overjoyed at the amount of jumping between projects.  lol

Most of the appliqué pieces for Kim Delhi's Five Cent Fairy Garden have been cut out.

The last blocks of the twice abandoned four patch project has been repurposed into hexagons.....many, many hexagons lol There's some cardstock "papers" already cut out for these, so they'll be glue basted.  I find cardstock a bit too thick for thread basting.

That has me wondering what else is in The Pit of Doom aka long term wip box.  There's a few orphan blocks in there, doing absolutely nothing, so they can start being repurposed or binned.  They were originally going to be made into some kind of sampler quilt, but they're all different sizes, which would mean using more brain power than I'm prepared to use on that kind of project.  There are at least three orphan blocks that can be repurposed into the front of a knitting tote.  The only knitting "rule" I have is....each project needs a bag.   It's always good to have a few spare bags for Startitus.

The heel flap is coming along for this sock.  It's a different pattern than I usually do.  Rows 1, 2 and 4 are knit.  The 3rd row is knit 1, purl 1.

Adding thumbs to a pair of fingerless mitts.

Yuletide by Plum Street Samplers is coming along.

  1. You're keeping yourself busy! I like the idea of having a few spare bags for Startitus - they come in handy - ;))
