Reading this book again, as I need a refresher for hand piecing my Farmer's Wife quilt.  


Unpicking hand pieced blocks is much easier than machine pieces!  lol  When it was started, I was overdue for new glasses.  It makes all the difference matching points.  Now I just need to dig out the tiny pins, swap them for these monsters, repin and start piecing again.  


  • Pondering fabric choices for this block.  Current thinking is a neutral for the two big triangles and the middle square.  Time for a rummage through the scraps for the other two colors and see if anything inspires before hitting the stash.



The Rain Fell is hanging from the door of the gas log fire as part of a (slowly) growing spring display.
