A small FFO from "The Box of Doom" (UFO box).  The 3 1/2 pineapple block finishes the mini iron bag off nicely
.

The triangles in this mini wall hanging have been in the box for nearly seven years.   No idea what they were going to be used for.  Frankenbatting uses up some odd strips of batting.  1 inch sashing was added.  It's being quilted along the edge of all the strips.  The ends are being weaved in as each line of quilting is finished, which will go a lot faster when I pick up my new glasses today.  This will be finished in a week.

A fq bundle of Kate Spain fabric has been luring in deep stash for an eon.  Little Genius by Just Get It Done Quilts is a quilt in a day project, but was abandoned a few months ago.

When these fqs turned up, it explained why the layout  looked wishy washy.  The blocks will be frogged, then these will be added, with sashing, to make it large enough to fit a double bed.  It's the largest ufo and will be finished by the end of November.  That will leave enough time to finish a wall hanging, a few ruler covers and an apron by the end of the year.  Then the Box of Doom will be empty.

  1. You have some great projects in the works. Love the Kate Spain colors and the reds and greens. It's interesting how we forget about projects that are stashed away. I guess out of sight, out of mind is accurate for quilters.
